Frisbee's Story...
Meet Frisbee! This sweet boy loves to, you guessed it, catch Frisbees! Check out his video - he LOVES to jump off the ground with all fours to catch it! Frisbee just got to his new foster home, so his mom is still learning all about him and we'll post updated information soon. What she does know is that Frisbee is one big silly, lovable guy. And did we mention big? Because he is ... BIG! Frisbee is heartworm positive and the rescue is paying for his treatment. He can be adopted out while he's recovering, but no frisbee catching until he is given the all clear by one of our wonderful veterinarians! This sweet boy is so excited to find his FORever home. If you are interested in being that home for Frisbee, email us info@FORrescue.net for an application today!! ** Frisbee is being fostered in Huntsville, AL. **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frisbee, a Huntsville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
