Mariel in CT's Story...
“Hi, I’m Mariel – I'm about 2 1/2 YRS old cattle dog mix currently being fostered in CT. I’m a medium girl (about 40 lbs) and don’t have plans for getting much bigger. I love cuddling! I have fawn-like markings and black eyeliner making me very pretty. I haven’t really experienced cats yet, so not sure what I think of them. I’m a shy country gal who is blossoming and with the right humans only the sky is the limit!. Come visit me!" I am fully vetted and spayed, HW neg and micro chipped. I am also housetraine

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mariel in CT, a Bloomfield Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Bloomfield, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Bloomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
