My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bunny was a nursing mother whose pups were never found. She was starving and abandoned on Dunn St. in Memphis. It was the 110" weather that had driven her to the curbside of Getwell Rd. Fearing for her life I stopped to take a closer look at her and to try and get her away from the cars. She led me down to the home that had left her to suffer. You could tell this was the place by all the garbage strewn all over the driveway. In the backyard was a wooden doghouse with a short heavy chain staked into the ground. Bunny had been bred over and over again. She has a short broken tail and her ears are torn. When we took her to be spayed it was found that she had two hernias in her hind legs. She was also positive with strong heart worms. This dog has been through hell. Old bite wounds and broken teeth from biting the chain, her teats almost drag the ground. Even after all of this, she is the sweetest dog I have ever found. Full of comical energy she will steal your heart. This dog is ready for some Love.
