Here's what the humans have to say about me:
When Olivander came to us, he had been terribly neglected and starved. His hip bones and his back bone protrudes and he is very skittish in his new situation. He could only have been thinking, "What else are these evil humans going to do to me?" But now, he's in a loving foster home where he has discovered the joys of being a house pet. He put on weight, his coat is nice and shiny, and he knows all about love.
Obviously, Ollie will need a loving home with plenty of patience as he tries to unlearn his past and learn to be a house pet. In no way is he an "instant pet," running with the children, chasing balls and walking confidently down the street on a leash. It's going to take awhile to build his confidence.
We're going to let him have a few weeks to get comfortable in his foster home and give his foster mom time to assess his personality. Check back with us! We'll update and get better photos as soon as we can.
