When we rescued little Abby she was not in great shape - both physically and emotionally. She was matted, skinny and not feeling well. She was terrified and even took a couple of days to feel comfortable in foster care. If you look at her photos now you can see how much better she looks and she has come out of her shell. Abby now walks like a pro on the leash, is house trained, crate trained, not a barker, loves to roll on her dog bed, sun bathing and if she sees an open lap, it's fair game for her to jump into it and snuggle in for a nap! She has learned about the joys of toys and will chase after a ball that is nearly as big as she is. She enjoys romping with her foster brother and chewing on her chew toys. She doesn't even mind being dressed in a sweater to help keep her warm!
Abby is a sweet, loving, playful old soul! She deserves to have a home that will love and cherish her for all the days of her life. Abby weighed 6.9 pounds when we rescued her and she was matted from head to toe, making it difficult for her to walk. :(
