Carlos & Camille's Story...
Carlos and Camille are adorable, playful, fun and well-socialized 11-week-old, tabby kitten siblings looking for a feline-loving guardian – preferable together. Carlos, the male orange tabby, and Camille, the female brown tabby, are incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving. As soon as you pick them up, they purr and purr. They are very happy, silly and robust curious kittens who love tearing around the house and playing with people and other cats. They are extremely healthy, neutered/spayed, de-wormed, micro-chipped, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, and virus-tested. To meet and possibly adopt them, please contact Aime at afagan522@hotmail.com or 312-287-5981. Their adoption fee of $150 as a pair benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carlos & Camille, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
