My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ THIS PROFILE AND THE REQUESTED CRITERIA BEFORE CALLING OR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. THANKS FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CONSIDERATION

THIS IS MIRACLE...and it is a miracle that she is alive. This little 5.9 lb (at present), white/tan, 4 month old (DOB 11/7/2011 apx) Maltipoo (also a guess), was in the jaws of death before she came to us. She was being brought into the San Bernardino Shelter to be euthanized while one of our volunteers was luckily standing in the office and asked if we could take her. She had been attacked by some type of animal, more than likely another dog, as a coyote would have eaten her. She had an abscess on her forehead, and her head had been punctured but gratefully, it didn't do any permanent damage. We took her to the vet and drained the wound and now she is doing great. She is acting more and more like a puppy daily....kissing you with so much gratitude...running with her foster roommate, chewing on her ears, legs, and generally making a nuisance of herself! But her foster sister, Rose, has such a wonderful demeanor, she doesn't mind! We think that Miracle will grow to be about 10 lbs, she has a beautiful, soft coat and a sweet personality. She has been spayed, chipped, and is up to date on her shots. Miracle is very smart and is already using the bathroom outside...but she is not totally potty trained...just on her way! She does have long legs, so she won't be a squatty puppy!! What she will be is beautiful and loving...and she needs a home that will love her to life. She has had a traumatic event in her short life...and she is slowly becoming the puppy we all knew she had in her!! Do you have a place in your heart for a Miracle?

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
