Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Shanti's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Shanti's Story...
Shanti's name fits her as we think she actually lived in Shandy Town!!! She was taken out of an abusive home by some relatives who made sure that she no bad traits. She is actually a sweet, but shy - maybe coy - little girl who appears to be housetrained and gets along with those around her. We are still learning about her, but at first blush she will make a great addition to any family looking for a shaggy, good, sweet dog who will need to be groomed occasionally.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shanti, a Castro Valley Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
