Sheltie/Shiba-Inu mix's Story...
Sheltie/Shiba-Inu/Aussie mix - DOB:1-2-12 These pups were found abandoned on a farm when they were only 5 wks. old. They have been fostered in a home with kids, 3 cats and 4 dogs. They are already using the pet door to go potty outside. They are all really smart and come when they are called. (Jenny is the only one left) They take turns going to the bus stop and love people! We have taught them how to go up and down steps and go potty on the paper when they can't get outside.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheltie/Shiba-Inu mix, a Pottstown Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Shiba Inu puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Shiba Inu for sale in Pottstown, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Shiba Inu puppy from a breeder in Pottstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pottstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pottstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Shiba Inu breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pottstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
