Holly Hobbie's Story...
So I left my bonnet and raggedy dress behind, but I am still the peaceful, cat loving, sweetheart you’ve grown up adoring. That’s right, Holly here does well with cats, and other dogs too. I even get along great with children! I’m only one year old, so I’m still a puppy at heart. That means I still need lots of training and patience since I’m learning new things day to day. Loving, training and guiding Holly could be your new Hobbie! I have the perfect temperament to make a wonderful family dog…I just need a wonderful loving family to seal the deal…That’s where you come in! 1 year old-47lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly Hobbie, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Corgi for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Corgi dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Corgi breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
