Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wyatt came to us as stray. He's a good boy, pretty mellow, a little bit timid, but he warms up pretty well. He prefers the company of ladies, but patient gentlemen who are calm and quiet will make a suitable match as well. He's a bigger boy and a small family with older kids (pre-teen & up) would be ideal. He is very playful (check out his "dance" video") and is the BEST guy on walks, so if you need a walking partner this is your guy!
Walks, thoughtful bellyrubs, couch snuggles are just what's needed to make Wyatt the happiest and most cherished member of your furry family, and why shouldn't he be? He's just great!
Wyatt does NOT like puppies or small dogs. They're just not his thing. Also, it is hard on Wyatt if he gets chased or feels threatened. He may appear to be aggressive, but that's only fear. He had a difficult time prior to coming into rescue (over 3 years now) and someone who really wants to make his day will surely be getting a great deal in return from this darling pet.
A healthy diet is key to keep his skin healthy (not itchy) and making sure he stays current on flea & tick preventative. He is a great guy with tons of love to share! Please consider this terrific dog for your home, and give him the special attention he so deserves! He weighs 14 pounds. His adoption fee is $250.
