Domino's Info...

Domino's Story...
Domino is from a litter of 8. His Mom, Snow, is a Great Pyrenees. Don't know about the Dad, but likely an Australian Shepherd. Snow is a found dog and heartworm positive. She delivered her puppies 1-18-12 and they are all healthy. Puppies cannot get heartworms from the Mom.

The puppies will have their first shots at 6 weeks. They are being weaned now and will be available for adoption March 1st.

The adopter agrees to sign a sterilization agreement and have the puppy spayed or neutered BEFORE 6 months of age. If you live in Hays, Travis, Williamson or Blanco County you will be given a spay-neuter and microchip voucher to be used at Emancipet.

If you are interested in meeting Domino please go to our website and complete an application, Applications are considered in the order in which they are received. We require an application before meeting one of our dogs.

We do not have a facility so our dogs are in foster homes. Once we have your application we will set up a convenient time for you to meet the dog.

Our dogs are meant to be companion animals and are NOT to be outside only dogs. We DO NOT condone chaining. Most of our dogs require a fenced yard. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Domino, a Wimberley Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd for sale in Wimberley, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Wimberley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wimberley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wimberley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wimberley paves the way for another one to be saved.
