If you're looking for a nice mellow dog to add to your family, then Floyd Sr. is worth considering. Poor Floyd was abandoned by his previous owner at the pound because he simply wasn't wanted anymore, after years of being a faithful companion. No explanation other than they just didn't want him around anymore. He's clearly a senior, but the previous owner had no records and couldn't remember or didn't know how old Floyd is, so we only know that he's an older dog- a senior who deserves better than this. Such a sweet guy- attentive and loves to be petted, will sit by your side- content to be near you. He's easy to walk on a leash or else a tie-out works fine, too. He tends to only want to stay out for short periods of time, so no long walks, especially in inclement weather. He is fine with other dogs and cats, doesn't jump up on people, and takes treats gently. He's an easy-going, easy to manage dog.
