My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucky is a beautiful, smart, cuddly, and energetic young dog, who just wants nothing more than to please you! He was found roaming the streets and although he was obviously someone's pet, no one came forward to claim him. He is a young dog approximately 8 - 10 months old. He is affectionate, playful and eager to please.

Here is what Lucky's foster family had to say:

Lucky is always overjoyed to see you! He is a little bit of a clown and loves everyone to watch him, and pet him. He is a sweet pup that knows how to love and make you feel better. He loves to give kisses! Lucky loves walks, cuddles, and love. I fell in love with him right away! He will steal your heart for sure. If you give him walks, food, and love, he is yours forever!

Lucky is a very nice dog and makes friends wherever he goes. He is very good at playing with other dogs and enjoys his trips to the dog park. We do not know how he would do with cats but as he is very young he would probably want to play with them. Lucky has never shown any aggression what so ever to anyone. He loves to meet new people and dogs. He loves to go for walks and as we do not have a fenced backyard he is used to having two good walks each day. I am sure he would be happy with a backyard to run around in as well. Lucky has a moderate level of energy, and he is calm in the house and will just lay down and keep an eye out on what your doing. He is fully house trained and knows to do his business outside.

We use the crate for Lucky in the night time and when we go out as he is still young and not yet trusted to be by himself in the home yet. I tell him to go crate and he walks in fine, then I give him some treats and tell him he’s a good boy. He will bark for a couple minutes but soon settles down for the night. I have trained Lucky to shake a paw, sit, down, roll over, come, and we are now working on stay. Of course as Lucky is still a pup he should have further obedience training. Lucky walks very well on leash and with a little more practice will walk nicely at your side.

Lucky is a family pet for sure! He is young and playful and loves long walks and runs, and playing with a ball and other dogs at a fenced in dog park. He would love a family that can give him the love and attention needed. I would love to see him go to a family with kids over the age of 9 that would like to cuddle with him and walk him. Lucky is always happy to see you! He is just beside him self with joy whether you've been gone two hours or two minutes. He likes to follow you around the house and will lay down next to you. He is also a very smart young dog that is eager to learn and would do amazing in training classes! He is eager to please, strives for your attention, and cuddles! Overall he is an amazing young dog that will capture your heart instantly.
