Milo is a sweet little little boy. He is about 3.6 lbs but got a heart of a lion. He does have a broke tail, all I know is that is how he was when I rescued him. He loves to play with other small dogs. His adoption fee is $425 and that does include the transport fee. If you would like an application or have any questions, please email Tina at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milo, a Monroe Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
