Reeses is a very unique looking dog. He has the long nose of the Dachshund with the sweet face of a Pomeranian. He is an adorable little companion and a very sweet pet. He loves to be with you but is not demanding or intrusive. He just like to be where you are and calmly nestled on your lap or just sitting beside you. He is fantastic with any size dog and couldn't care less about cats.
Reeses is truly a little companion. He is not a dog that would interest children that really wanted a playmate as he is quiet and just likes to calmly be where you are. He does like to play with other dogs but for the most part he is just a little lap dog that wants to be with his person. Whether you are out for a walk or sitting watching tv Reeses is very content to just BE with you.
Reeses is a young dog just under a year old and weighs just 10 lbs. He is easy to carry but can certainly keep up on walks around the neighbourhood. He is friendly enough with strangers to take anywhere and will happily jump into anyone's lap. He is quiet in the home only barking when necessary and is not yappy. He is a lively little dog but not energetic and would get enough exercise just jumping up and down off your lap. He would still enjoy going for walks for mental stimulation however he would never win any races.
Reeses would love to sleep at the foot of your bed. He likes to follow you everywhere but is never underfoot. He enjoys watching tv and his favorite spot is to lie along the arm of the couch. He does enjoy being outside but is happiest if you are with him. He does not need a backyard as long as he was walked daily.
Reeses is truly a companion dog and if you are in search of a special friend to keep you company, run errands with, visit friends and have a leisurely walk around the neighbourhood from time to time, then this is your boy.
Reeses has a lovely soft, medium length coat that is easy to care for. He sheds very minimally and a nice bath now and then, and a quick brush and he is looking fantastic.
