Hi, I am Annie and I live in a foster home with one of my sisters. I know she thinks she is cuter than I am, maybe she is, but I think I am smarter LOL!
I was born under a trailer in southern Illinois and my mom took real good care of me and my siblings, but I needed a better place to live as we would not make it on our own. It's nice being in a home now because it was cold when I was born right about the beginning of 2012. I would love to grow up in your family, can you take care of me the rest of my life?

We are a small group who was formed after two years of individual efforts that resulted in over two dozen saved dogs from southern Illinois and just as many happy families. We are entirely foster-based so even if you do not feel as though you can adopt, you may qualify as a foster for us. All of our dogs are current on shots, monthly flea and tick treatment, year-round heartworm preventative, wormings, spayed/neutered and bathed.
We love our dogs, many were left behind, dumped, or neglected, most never had a collar on in their lifetime. These dogs soon forget where they came from and we enjoy helping them to forget.
At Safely Home Canine Rescue our vision is: A loving home for every dog; An educated person in every home.
Any of our dogs may be seen by appointment only. Please follow us on Facebook where you may link to right from our website for any events that we will have dogs at. If you don't have a Facebook account, that's okay, our website will have our events listed too!
All potential adopters must complete an application found on our website. We will conduct a thorough reference check and visit your home prior to finalizing any adoption. You may also be required to visit the dog or puppy in their foster home. Our fee is $225.00.
