Rosebud's Story...
Rosie is a 13 month lab mix. She is housetrained and doesn't chew, only her toys! She is
very outgoing and friendly. Rosie is very smart, sits on command and has potential to
be an agility dog or just a great pet. She loves other dogs and always wants to be around
people. She loves going for walks, swimming, and playing catch. Rosie is spayed and up to
date on all her shots. She is fostered in Tampa. Her adoption fee is $100.

If you are interested in adopting, please send an email to with the dog’s name in the subject line. Please include your name and return contact info. FARR – Florida Retriever Rescue is composed totally of volunteers working to save the lives of neglected and unwanted dogs. The adoption fee helps to cover the first 2 shots, Dewormer, Rabies (if over 16 weeks) and neuter/spay fees, as well as any transport/pull fees FARR may have paid to shelter. You can also check out all of the other foster dogs and puppies that the FARR has currently fostered around the Tampa Bay area by visiting FARR Adopt-A-Pet or Facebook: FARR Florida All Retriever Rescue. Thank you for your interest in a rescue dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosebud, a Largo Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Largo, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Largo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Largo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Largo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Largo paves the way for another one to be saved.
