Pippi's Story...
Meet Pippi! This little girl is so pretty and loves to be petted! Pippi is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and enjoys rides in the car. This bouncy red puffball is delightfully silly - rolling on her back in the sunshine, trotting so quickly that her little legs are practically a blur, and chasing after tennis balls (though she's definitely NOT a Retriever! LOL). Pippi takes treats gently and loves food... which has caused her to be a little overweight. She needs to lose a few pounds, which surely will slip off if she's given the opportunity for some exercise. Pippi really doesn't like cats (chases/barks), so would do best in a home without any feline companions. If you're interested in Pippi, please email us at info@FORrescue.net and request an application today!

** Pippi is currently in a foster home near Huntsville, AL. Her adoption fee includes transportation to your area. **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippi, a Hagerstown Pomeranian/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Papillon for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Pomeranian/Papillon dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Papillon breeders who help with Pomeranian/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
