Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Petunia. I am a 10-month old retriever mix. I am living with a foster sister, who is teaching me a lot. I go to doggie daycare two days a week and really enjoy hanging around and playing with all of the different dogs that are there. They say I am very social and play with all of the different dogs that are there. I really like to play with tennis balls and chase flying insects. I am also very fond of socks (and it does not matter if they are clean or not)!! I am very agile and love to jump. I am house trained and crate trained. My foster family loves me very much but I would really love to find my forever family. I am still timid and shy around people, but with a canine buddy in my new home to show me the way, I warm up very quickly!
I do also want everyone to know that I am a VERY smart puppy! I just passed my Companion Dog I Obedience Course with my foster mom! She was SO very proud of me. At the end of the class, I even went through an agility tunnel all by myself - I was very brave. I have been swimming a few times and really love the water. It is really fun running through the waves at the beach. I LOVE to chase seaweed!

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
