Margerita #279's Story...
Hello, my name is Margerita #279 and I am 3 weeks and 2 days old. I was born 02/03/2012 the fourth of four pups. I am a light brown or fawn colored, very soft and sweet. When I was born I was 3 1/2 ounces and I am now a bouncing 13 1/4 ounces, so you see I am very healthy and happy. My foster mom says I may be between 5 to 7 pounds when grown and that I should have long hair. I am beautiful and well mannered. I would like to move into my Forever Home about March 29th and if you think that I would be a good addition to your family, please contact my foster mom Carolyn at appraiser4u@frontier.com and she will give you all the information you will need and send you an Adoption Application. Chihuahua Rescue and Referral requires an Adoption Application and Home Visit before placing any dog in their Forever Home. Since I am so young, My adoption fee is $250 plus you will need to have a prepaid spay certificate from your Veterinarian, because I am too young to spay. Hope to hear from you soon. Margerita

My siblings, Maria #278, Lolita #276 & Tiny Tim #277 plus my Mom, Patience #259 are also up for adoption about March 29th.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margerita #279, a Seattle Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
