Remington's Story...
Remington came to Southern New Mexico Shepherds with Darma. He spent his life outside. He is a good outside protection dog. He is not house broken. He will be 3 this year and is still very hyper. He tends to be a bit dominant so he needs an experienced owner that knows how to be the top dog. He is shy around new people and is dog aggressive. He needs to go to someone where he will be the only dog and only a family of 1 or 2. He is also AKC registered and will come with his papers. His adoption fee is also $300

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Remington, a Las Cruces German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Las Cruces, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Las Cruces.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Cruces already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Cruces breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Cruces paves the way for another one to be saved.
