Gracie's Story...
Gracie is an alpha cat. She lets the kittens and the dogs know who is boss immediately. She loves to take naps by your side and look out the window until you arrive home. She is always at the door, waiting for her "hello pet" right as you walk in. She may seem a bit standoff-ish at first, but once she gets used to her surroundings, she'll purr your ear off! Gracie is a tiny girl, you'd never guess she's over a year old.

Gracie is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. Her adoption fee is $85.

Several of our cats can be seen at the following Houston Petsmarts 7 days a week any time the store is open.
Additional cats are available for viewing at Petsmart each weekend from 12-6pm.
Please email to assure the cat you are interested in will be at the weekend event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
