Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2/12/12 - Jake has been living in a volunteer foster home with 3 other large dogs and has adjusted well !! He seems to be able to handle a "pack" type situation.... Running - jogging with current foster couple and he LOVES it! So much happier when he's running and spending time with the human he bonds with.. Goes to doggy day care too. If you Jog -- this is the dog for you! $130................................................................................................................ Due to size and having never lived with young children.....best in home with adults. 11/10Jake went through dog training with his foster care giver --- great outcome! Adopter: refresher course available at Toledo Dog Training for Jake & new owner. 10/2011 > Doing well in foster home......Jake is experiencing more activity to help with his energy. Although he seems to do well in a doggy daycare type setting....Jake may live best in a one dog home or with a laid back dog ... Now 3-4 yrs old ........ 8-26-11 SURPRISED Jake still needs a home!!! ~~ Jake is a male Weimaraner "Blue" in color and weighing 86 lb. Dogworks rescued Jake from a rural poor Ohio county dog shelter. We are told he was placed there by a back yard breeder who no longer wanted him.....She's now breeding smaller dogs! Immediately given a good bath == Jake is gorgeous! Takes a few days to feel secure and bond. Responds well to one on one attention, a few toys & someone interacting with him. Does need continued work on manners & socialization plus a large secure yard for exercise and a family willing to include Jake in their activities..... Has been fine living with foster moms cat. We're still learning about Jake. Housebroke and crate trained. Loves to go for walks - walks well on lead. Neutered, vaccines up to date, heartworm negative and prevention started. .
