Lucy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a beautiful, classic looking black tri female with a natural 3/4 tail. She will be 4 yrs old on 4/29. Lucy is a bit overweight due to the lack of exercise. She is an active girl so losing weight shouldn't be a problem at all. She likes to play ball and is very playful.

Lucy is very sweet, does well with all people and is good with kids though might be a bit much for very small children (she jumps/nips at feet). She does well with other dogs and has been fine with her foster homes cat. Lucy has had some obedience but still needs work on walking on a leash, she has a tendency to pull. This pretty girl is house trained and not destructive at all....she's a very nice dog.

If you are looking for an active girl that needs exercise but can still chill, Lucy might be your girl! She has a lovely personality too!

Lucy is fostered in St. Augustine.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Orlando Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
