Stitch's Story...
Stitch - ID #A095851. I am a male Rough Collie mix. I about 3 years old. STITCH IS AVAILABLE FOR RESCUES ONLY.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Just look at this boy!!!!!!! Stitch is my new shelter favorite. He is sweet, fun, well mannered and is just an all around great guy!! He loves to play fetch and will do so for hours if you let him. He walks well on a leash, knows his basic commands and did well during the cat testing. As always, I recommend supervised introductions and lots of patience. He gets along with other dogs and is great with kids. You have to come down and meet this guy. He is awesome. Stitch is a 3 year old Rough Collie mix. He has been available to adopt/rescue/foster since February 25, 2012. His ID Number is A095851. When you call about me, please make sure you use my ID number. Names can get confusing, but numbers don't. Can't wait to meet you! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stitch, a Yuba City Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Collie dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie breeders who help with Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
