Hi, I'm Rusty! The people at ITP rescued me from a loud, scary, dirty place (they call it a shelter) and I am so happy to be out of there! I'm with a really nice foster family now, and they just love me to bits. I have some really fun siblings to play with, both 2 legged and 4. I never jump on my kid siblings anymore and I'm learning not to mouth on them, like I do my doggie family. Speaking of my doggie family, I just love them! I have an older sister pittie and an older brother pittie that I just love to run and play with. I know how to sit, I never go potty in the house, and I'm learning how to walk properly on the leash. I would just love to join a family that has another dog for me to play with, and one that loves to cuddle. Belly rubs are a must!!! If you're looking for a playful and loving pup, well, here I am!
We DNA tested Rusty and the results came back as Am Staff / Beagle Mix. :)

We are located in the San Diego area and pull dogs from southern California shelters and we assist families in rehoming their pets so that they don't have to go to a shelter.
I started doing rescue because I couldn't stand to see adoptable dogs being euthanized due to lack of an immediate home. I knew that I could find them good homes.

Potential families are asked to complete or Adoption Application before visiting our dogs. We introduce you and your family including any other dogs/cats in your family to our adoptable dogs. If the meeting is a good match we will schedule a home check to ensure that the home is a good match for the pet that you have selected. You will then be asked to complete our Adoption Agreement and to finalize the adoption there will be a processing fee to adopt a pet from us. All proceeds go directly back to help support our rescue and there are no paid employees so all fees are used for our pets waiting to be adopted.
