Artemus's Story...
If you are interested in viewing or adopting this kitty, please go to www.orphankittenrescue.com/adopt and fill out an application.

Artemus would like you to know he has been honing his ninja skills and is prepared to keep your home free of dangly string, feathers, and anything shiny on the floor. He enjoys being brushed and lavished with attention. He plans to luxuriates in being safe and warm often, and yes, does need to cross over to the other side of whatever you are doing right now. Further, his litter box skills are excellent. (References available.) He asks that you give him a small room to call his own for the first couple of days (because ninjas get scared sometimes).

Note from foster: Artemus was just a kitten when he was abandoned. By the time he was rescued by VOKRA,he was starving and near freezing. Now, has filled out with fluff and boldness in equal proportion. He is a small, fun, curious boy who likes to PLAY and investigate. This cat is affectionate and prefers to be near you so will often hang out on the sofa by your shoulder, or snooze with a cheek against your leg and a paw on your knee. No small children

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Artemus, a Vancouver Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
