Redford's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Redford's Story...
My foster mom named me Redford (I’m 4 months old 2-12) and my best buddy Newman because we are such pals, like Butch and Sundance (who ever they are). I just love to give kisses and be held. My foster mom has a couple of dogs but they are older and don't want to play with us so she keeps us apart from them but we like other dogs and are only a little curious about the cat. I hope Newman and I will soon have families to call our own forever, or maybe even one family that will adopt both us and we could stay together. The vet says I'm gonna be a big guy based on the size of my feet and legs, which I'm still growing into. That just means there will be more of me to love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Redford, a Floyd Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Floyd, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Floyd.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Floyd already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Floyd breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Floyd paves the way for another one to be saved.
