Melody's Story...
Hi everyone-My name is Melody, but you may call me Mel if you like. I am the active sort of girl-I am hoping to have a nice big yard where I can run and play (I love to play ball). I get along great with other dogs and would love to have a canine companion in my new home. (I also get along just fine with cats). I adore children especially those that will play with me. I am a perfect dog in the house-I am housetrained, can sit and stay, and I will follw you everywhere. I only have one bad habit-I don't like to be left alone in the yard, so I will escape and try to find you. Other than that-i am perfect. Please come on over to Wescott Acres and adopt me. I can't wait for a family to love!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melody, a Columbia Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
