Hi! My name is Dixie and I am a female, 3-4 ? month old chocolate lab mix. I am calm for a puppy, intelligent, quick learner, playful and so stinking cute.. I weigh about 30 pounds and am working on being housetrained and have so far have done pretty well, not fixed, and not up-to-date on my shots. If you're looking for a great dog, look no further because I know you'll be pleased with me! Unfortunately, I have to find a new home because I don't have one and my last owners abandoned me. My foster mom works long hours and she would love to see me in a home where I can get lots of attention.. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Also, be sure to keep me on a monthly heartworm preventive. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and the only way to protect me is with a monthly preventive that you get from your vet!
