My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is not currently with Lucky Dog Rescue, but is being courtesy posted for his owners that need to rehome him. **For more information or if you are interested in adopting Harley, please email Andria at andrialynn@sbcglobal.net** He is currently located in Lake in the Hills, IL.

Following is a bio that Harley's family wrote for him and is all the information that is known at this time...for more information, please contact Andria at andrialynn@sbcgloblal.net.

"Harley is a great family pet, but unfortunately we can longer keep him due to the severe allergy to dogs that our 7 month old suffers from. We took Harley into our home when he was about 12 weeks old. He was picked up by the Oak Brook Police wandering along Route 83 as a small puppy. They brought him to a local animal hospital who offered to house him while they hoped the owners would contact the local police or animal shelters searching for their lost puppy and return him home.

Unfortunately, after 30 days nobody had called looking for Harley and the animal hospital was forced either bring Harley to a shelter or find him a home. The vet was familiar with our family and knew that we already had a 7 year old German Sheppard at home, so she asked if we would be interested in adding a new member to the family. They originally thought that Harley was a pure bred German Sheppard, but as he matured he started showing signs of lab mix.

Harley has been a loyal family dog for 7 years; some great that you’ll love about him are:

~~He is great with kids & loves attention
~~He is very obedient and trained not to go on furniture or upstairs. (we kept our dogs downstairs at our house.)
~~He is house trained and does not require crating while away from home and will not have any accidents
~~Doesn’t chew, bite, scratch or show signs of aggression towards anyone

Harley is very loving dog and will make another family very happy for many years to come."

If you are able to help by offering poor Harley a new forever home, please contact Andria at andrialynn@sbcglobal.net.
