Candy Kidd's Story...
Hi there! My name is Candy Kidd because I'm a sweet little guy! I was left under an empty house with my sister and brother when our mom was killed on the road when we were just three days old! Our foster mom raised us, and now we are looking for our "forever home"! I love to eat good food, then play all over the house, then sleep. My special hobby is to hang upside down from the cat tree. And of course I LOVE people!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Candy Kidd, a Chula Vista American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Chula Vista, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chula Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chula Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chula Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chula Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
