Wiley's Story...
Wiley was a stray in Mississippi. She had mange and motor oil all over her. She also had the scars of rope burns all around her neck or they are from an embeded collar. She is the sweetest dog I have ever had. She has a gentleness about her that is different from dogs. It's because she is part wild cyote or wolf. She is very vocal and springs and jumps when happy. She has oil glands in her coat that she uses to protect her in the summer from the heat. She can also turn her eyes red at will. She loves the other dogs here and is an excellent house pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiley, a Memphis Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Memphis, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Memphis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Memphis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Memphis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Memphis paves the way for another one to be saved.
