My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Babe is a tiny 6 /5 lbs yorkie. She lived all her life in a cage and now has freedom. She had a very bad gum infection and needed a dental, while doing it they found her jaw was fractured from the lack of care. So she will be fine and for the time being is on soft dog food but wanted to eat dry a day after surgery. She is being evaluated and we will update you. Sweet little girl who will need patience and guidance to learn to trust humans and live in a home. She is already exploring her new foster home and coming around nicely. Yorkies are smart and will learn fast, but a quite adult home will be preferred while she is adjusting to a life of freedom and being spoiled.

Most of our rescues lived with another pet and would like a playmate, however some are very independent and can be an only pet. She weighs 6.5 lbs and is tri color and about 5 years young. Babe is being fostered by Sherri and family in Copley OH area. Babe's adoption fee is $375 it includes a written veterinary exam, Neuter or Spay plus complete dental with extractions She only has a few teeth left but still plays, will give kisses and has this cute little pink tongue sticking out for her personality. Plus a prepaid Microchip registeration. Includes an annual booster shot, rabies shot and tag, heartworm test and passed, fecal and preventative deworming. IN ADDITION if our vet deems it necessary they will have had a DENTAL, possible extractions and pain and antibotic meds after surgeries. You also receive a trial limited 30 day pet insurance from a third party. In season our rescues have had flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

We send you home with a copy of all the vet work, dog training booklet, Adopted Dog Training CD, adoption paperwork and tips. Our Foster families notes explaining our rescue dogs schedule, habits, socialization skills.

We do not ship or transport our dogs you must drive to the foster home to meet the dog. You must fill out our on line application to schedule a meet and great with the foster dog. We cannot hold more than 2 weeks from notifying you approved to complete the adoption or we require a non refundable deposit to hold the dog a short time longer. We do not require a fenced yard on all of our dogs, it is on a as needed basis. HOWEVER if you don't have a fenced yard we do require you to purchase an exercise pen (>$60 on internet) so that the dog can be safe when outside; SMALL DOGS CAN NOT BE TIED OUT. .

Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them, potty pad train them and use exercise pens for outside and work on potty skills. Dogs learn quickly and are pretty far along. But expect some accidents at lst until they know the routine at your place.

Our dogs are fostered in private homes in OH and MI and PA. We are not a shelter you will need an approved application and an appointment to meet our rescue dogs. Please complete our on line application here click here for our on line application.
