Linus 6mo old's Story...
I just arrived from a hoarder situation, I am headed to my foster home after I leave the vet, we will update you later. I am very playful and friendly.

Most of our rescues lived with another pet and would like a playmate, however some are very independent and can be an only pet.

He/she weighs 20 lbs and is black & white in color and 6 months old. He is being fostered by Christine and family in Grand Rapids, MI area. His adoption fee is $500 already neutered; it includes a written veterinary exam, Neuter In addition a prepaid Microchip registeration. PLUS an annual booster shot, rabies shot and tag, heartworm test and passed, fecal and preventative deworming. You also receive a trial limited 30 day pet insurance from a third party. In season our rescues have had flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.

We send you home with a copy of all the vet work, dog training booklet, Adopted Dog Training CD, adoption paperwork and tips. Our Foster families notes explaining our rescue dogs schedule, habits, socialization skills.

We do not ship or transport our dogs you must drive to the foster home to meet the dog. You must fill out our on line application to schedule a meet and great with the foster dog. We cannot hold more than 2 weeks from notifying you approved to complete the adoption or we require a non refundable deposit to hold the dog a short time longer. We do not require a fenced yard on all of our dogs, it is on a as needed basis. HOWEVER if you don't have a fenced yard we do require you to purchase an exercise pen (>$60 on internet) so that the dog can be safe when outside; SMALL DOGS CAN NOT BE TIED OUT. .

Not all our dogs are totally house trained at the time of adoption. We crate train them, potty pad train them and use exercise pens for outside and work on potty skills. Dogs learn quickly and are pretty far along. But expect some accidents at lst until they know the routine at your place.

Our dogs are fostered in private homes in OH and MI and PA. We are not a shelter you will need an approved application and an appointment to meet our rescue dogs. Please complete our on line application here click here for our on line application. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linus 6mo old, a North Benton Poodle (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard) for sale in North Benton, or seeking a Poodle (Standard) dog from a breeder in North Benton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Benton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Benton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard) breeders who help with Poodle (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Benton paves the way for another one to be saved.
