Sarge's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sarge's Story...
Sarge is a neutered, papered Beagle about 2 years old. Sarge was relinquished to the shelter by owners no longer able to to keep him. This guy could be just the one you're looking for...it's reported he's good with other dogs, children & cats. He is up to date with shots, micro chipped (can be re-registered with your information) and seemingly house trained. It was also reported that he's had obedience training; he walks nicely at heel and knows to sit. Sarge isn't timid, enjoys full body handling and seems to have an independent spirit. So just picture this cute fella with a big red bow perched under your Christmas tree. Stop in and meet Sarge at the shelter he'll be ready to choose a new fur-ever family December 7th after 6pm.

If you want to apply for Sarge click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Humane Society.Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarge, a Meridian Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
