Layla's Story...
Layla is 30 lbs of happy girl. Although she's a year old and full grown, she's at that perfect puppy stage where she is tons of fun and still happy to settle down on a dog bed while you work or watch TV. Layla likes car rides and the dog park, in fact she's learning to play ball and loves to visit with other dogs. She's easy to handle in the bathtub too. She loves toys and will pick out a teddy bear every time! She slings it in the air to catch all by herself. Layla is new to leash walking and is a natural, she doesn't pull and is learning to walk politely by her human. She's a beautiful little girl, healthy and fully vetted, and will make a wonderful best friend. For more information, please email INFO@FORrescue.net. Layla is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Layla, a Windham Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Windham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
