ZORRO's Story...
Zorro is a 2-year-old male Boston terrier mix who has a beautiful brindle coat. His fur is a little thicker than a BT. He is a sweet boy and gives kisses readily. He gets along with other dogs and kids and is curious about cats and may chase them. Zorro is completely crate and house trained. He walks very well on a leash and is a perfect car rider. He doesn't get up on the furniture and prefers to sleep beside the bed, not on it.

Zorro weighs 23 lb. He is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He is, unfortunately, hertworm positive. We have him on the slow-kill heartworm treatment which just involves giving pills. We will be glad to explain this procedure in detail. Our dogs on this treatment have been testing negative in a year to 18 months.

If you are interested in Zorro, please call Jill 843+992-8596.. To apply to adopt Zorro, go to bostonrescueofsc.org and fill out an online application. Zorro's adoption fee is $175.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZORRO, a North Augusta Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in North Augusta, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in North Augusta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Augusta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Augusta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Augusta paves the way for another one to be saved.
