My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bailey. That is what the nice people at AGK are calling me. I had a different name before but I don't remember it. I was brought to a scary place called a shelter in rural Georgia because I could not find my home. My family did not come looking for me, but that is ok. I am much better off now. The nice folks with AGK told me I had heart worms but I would feel much better after I had my medicine. Boy were they right! My tail is now wagging and I see a brighter future. I am still a little unsure of my surroundings but if you show me that you won't hurt me or leave me, I will be your best friend. And I love other dogs like me too - playing with them is the best. I see cats at the vet where I am at, they seem ok to me. I think I can be friends with them but I really like to chase them. And I adore children too - they seem to be a lot of fun. Im about 55 pounds and 2 years old. They keep telling me I am a sweet, gentle boy...I guess I am, I am just being myself and waiting on my new family to give me a second chance at life.
