Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nessie is a 3 1/2 year old fawn female with natural ears. She was surrendered to a shelter after her old family couldn't take care of her. She developed a bad rash caused by food allergies and has some fur missing over her hips but she has responded very well to treatment and we are waiting for the results of her allergy tests so we can put her on the right diet. She is a very sweet an affectionate but never demanding. She doesn't counter surf and has good house manners and knows her basic commands to which she responds very well. She still has a little play in her but a nice daily walk is all of the exercise that she needs. Her leash walking isn't perfect but she doesn't pull hard on her leash or try to drag you with her. She gets along great with other dogs and will run around with them for fun. Her foster home receives clients on a regular basis and she has made everyone feel welcome and makes friends quickly. She will let you know when someone is at the door with her bark but she show's no aggression towards people and is very gentle even around children. Nessie would be a wonderful companion for an older couple or single person.
