My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 03/14/2012: My name is Lula. I am a 5.3 pound Yorkie girl
and about 5 years old. On March 8th I had surgery to remove several
mammary tumors, a spay and had my teeth cleaned. Today I am bouncing
around as if I didn't have any surgeries. I am trained to a wee wee
pad but like lots of little dogs my poop does not always hit the pads.
I am sweet as sugar and stick to my foster mom like we had been
together forever. I feel great. I sleep right next to foster mom. I
only bark when I am excited that food is coming. I have no bad habits
so far and would make a wonderful companion. I like people and other
dogs. Are you the right person for me?

INITIAL BIO 03/03/2012: Lula is an ADORABLE 5 yer old 5.8 lb little
girl who was brought to the shelter by her owners who didn't want her
anymore. Lula is sweet as pie, housetrained to wee wee pads and
outside, walks well, loves everyone, and is the cutest thing ever.
However, Lula has a mammary tumor, and her owners apparently couldn't
care for it. So, UYR rescued this bundle of cuteness and will be
having her labwork, Xrays, spay, dental, and tumor removal done next
week. Wish her luck! Please stay tuned as we get to know her better.
