Ava's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Ava's Story...
Ava is approx. 4 years old and weighs around 30-35lbs. She is very sweet and social. She can be a little timid with strangers but is never aggressive toward people and is good with older kids and other dogs. Her previous owner no longer wanted to hunt with her so she was no longer useful to him. He intended to dump her off, but we found her just before that. She is very sweet and just desires to sit next to you or in your lap and be pet. She needs a home where she will be valued as a family member and not a tool.

This pet has a $40 adoption fee because he/she received a sponsor. Please inquire for adoption details and procedures.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ava, a Lawrenceburg Mountain Cur/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur/Feist for sale in Lawrenceburg, or seeking a Mountain Cur/Feist dog from a breeder in Lawrenceburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur/Feist breeders who help with Mountain Cur/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
