Cher:
Cher is a younger adult female with a sweet disposition. She has lived with her brother, Sonny, for her entire life. She came to PURRFECT FRIENDS after being surrendered by her owners to a shelter in Kentucky. They were unable to care for the pair any more.
Cher is a bit more outgoing than her brother, Sonny. She will come up to you on her own to meet you and will want to be friends immediately. She is a trusting girl who will want you to spend all of your time with her. That will make her most happy! She is not pushy about getting attention—she will just love getting it from you. Even though it may sound very cliché to say she is SWEET, that’s the best word to describe her. She is a friendly girl who will want to be around you. That is to say, she is not a lap cat but will want to be next to you, petted by you, lying against your side as you pet her. A belly rub is one of Cher’s favorite things in life and will roll over for one if you are able to help her with this!
Cher is a bobcat and a calico. Her tail is VERY short! Her coat will feel different to you than that of another cat and she shed’s less that other cats. She is a good weight for an adult cat and has a normal amount of energy. She is happy living the good life of any indoor cat who can take as many cat naps as possible during the day—especially in the sun!
Cher loves being with her brother. You can tell she loves him especially when they curl up together to take naps in the sun. They have a wonderful energy together but it does not exclude humans. Whereas some cats might be just happy to be together and ignore the humans, this pair is THRILLED to be with humans and neither tries to steal the attention away from the other. They remind me of an older married couple who have found in each other their own soul mate. It’s a beautiful relationship they share and they would be SO HAPPY to share their love with you! About Our Rescue Group...
Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit group working to end the plight and suffering of unwanted cats and kittens in the greater Cincinnati area. We do this by educating the general public about the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to lessen the drastic over-population of cats; we provide foster homes to cats and kittens waiting for adoption, and provide information and guidance to people working to help the feral cat population through TNR (trap, neuter and release) efforts.

Adoptions Events are held on Saturdays at the several local Petsmart and Petco stores. If you would like to meet a specific cat, please contact us ahead of time and we will bring the cat to the weekend event.
