White Foot's Story...
Please contact Terry ( for more information about this pet.

White Foot was rescued from behind Henn's Automotive in Waxhaw.  FURR's founder had been feeding him along with his little girlfriend and was finally able to rescue them both.  Unfortunately, Pocahontas, his little girlfriend, tested positive for FeLV shortly after she was rescued and was graciously taken in S.O.A.R. to live out her remaining years as normal as possible in the company of other FeLV kitties.  White Foot was tested twice, 90 days apart, and thankfully both times was negative for FeLV.  He is a very lovable boy who gets along wonderfully with other kitties.  He survived outside for a very long time and now it is time he gets the loving family and home he so deserves.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

White Foot, a Waxhaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waxhaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Waxhaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waxhaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waxhaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waxhaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
