HI, my name is Copper (like Fox & the Hound but I am sure it is because of my color)! I am a puggle that came to SEPRA from a humane society in North Carolina, I was given to a family but they took me to the shelter because I was having seizures. The HS saved me from the shelter and took me to the vet so that I could be put on meds for my seizures. However, they decided that SEPRA would probably be able to find me a home quicker since I am a puggle. I am currently a little overweight (28 lbs) but we are working on that - however, I LOVE to eat!! I am very sweet and playful and only 4 years old. I am current on my shots, neutered and housetrained. I do not like a crate and really prefer to have a fenced yard so that I can get some exercise. I am great with other dogs and looking forward to finding my new home. I am very healthy but MUST have my seizure meds twice a day. So please consider me - Copper!
Hi everyone, I am doing wonderful and wanted to remind everyone that I am ready for my new home! I recently attended my first SEPRA event and was a hit. I have great manners around other dogs and loved all of the sights and smells. I really LOVED all of the treats - I am definitely food oriented so you have to keep the treats up high! I managed to get a loaf of bread of the counter the other day and was really enjoying myself when I as caught in the act! I am very sweet and my foster mom says that I am a great bed buddy and love to cuddle! I am housetrained by might need my bellyband in a new home just in case. I have had NO seizures since my medicine was adjusted so as long as I have my meds I am good! Please consider me as the puggle for you!!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know how well I'm doing! I recently moved from a foster home in GA to a foster home in SC. I am doing wonderful and love my new foster sister! I've been meeting lots of new people lately. Everyone loves me because I have so many amazing qualities... Not only am I cute, but I'm completely house trained (the belly band was used only during my 1st few days), I get along with all people & animals, I learn commands easily, I'm crate trained, I don't mind baths, and I'm just so happy all the time! My favorite things to do are play at the park, cuddle with my foster mom, play tug of war with my foster sister, and eat! Sometimes people aren't sure about me because I need to take a pill morning and night for seizures but as long as I get my medicine I am seizure free! Also, I have no trouble eating it along with my regular food. I'd probably eat rocks if they were in my food bowl! So don't forget about me, Copper... I can't wait to find my forever home!
