Hello Beagle Lovers, My name is Oscar de la Hoya. I really prefer to go by Oscar. While I look like a prize fighter, I am really just a small beagle with a ton of love and fun to share. I am about 2 years old and keep my foster family busy. I came into the MW BREW program as a stray with an injury to my eye. I was in bad shape and the operation needed to be done to make me healthy again. Other than that I am in tip top shape. I eat well, sleep in a crate at night, and go to the bathroom outside. From what I understand that makes my foster mom and dad so very happy! I love to play with the dogs here at my foster home, but they are a bunch of old fogies. I have had a couple of play dates with younger beagles and we had a great time. I got to meet the kids next door and I loved them. They were so nice to me and I got to see them play football. I get a bit nervous in the car but after a while I settle in and enjoy the ride. My foster mom gets tangled up with the leash when we go for a walk, but I am happy to get out and sniff. My foster family has already seen me using my other senses to make up for me missing an eye. When I explore a new place I sniff, listen, and search every square inch. When I am done exploring, playing and investigating I love to snuggle beside my foster family.
