Hi! I'm Sadie. I'm one year old and I REALLY, REALLY need a foster or Furever home. I haven't had an easy life so far and would love to come home with you and just "BE". Be: safe, fed, loved and nurtured. I will return the favor with all the love my little heart can give. I promise I'll be ever so grateful.

Let me tell you about me - I was found in a field by my People's kids. They were out camping and just stumbled across little lost me. No one knew where I came from or who I was :-( . They didn't want to leave me for the coyotes (thank goodness) and took me home with them.

I have some problems with my right rear leg - I have an old fracture that was never fixed. My knee joint is large and it doesn't have very much range of motion. I have some muscle atrophy from lack of use, so it slows me down a little, but I'm still a spunky puppy! I can jump off and on the furniture with ease and I run and play with the other dogs. The doctors talked about doing surgery, but decided that reconstructing proper alignment could make my arthritis hurt more (OH NO!). So I just forge ahead like puppy dogs do and make the BEST of what I have!

I've been vaccinated and dewormed (when they found me, I was just FULL of those nasty worms, but I'm all fixed now). I get along GREAT with other dogs and people. I'm spayed, microchipped, crate-trained AND house-trained (DOES IT GET ANY BETTER????) and I LOVE to snuggle at night in bed with my People.

Please, please, please consider taking me home with you. I'm still young so I'll be with you for a long time. I'll be your best friend and soul mate if you'll just give me a chance.
