Meet Tyler, a striking Red Merle Australian Shepherd Male who weighs around 80 pounds, we think a small diet is in order. Tyler is neutered and up to date on all his shots. Tyler is a Cheese Head from Wisconsin, having been sprung from a Humane Society. Tyler was not doing well in a shelter/kennel environment and was showing signs of regressing and being aggressive, this is a tendency we have seen in Aussies that are in a shelter. Once out they revert to excellent adoption candidates. Tyler is housebroken and cratetrained. In fact, he loves his crate and kennels up on command. Tyler walks well on a halter, and is being worked to walk on a collar/leash better. Tyler seems to enjoy all people he meets and gets excited to meet children, he must had had a family in his past that he loved and cared about. Tyler will show interests in cats, sniffing them, but if they hiss or swat he tends to walk away, but if they run, he will take chase, though he won't do anything when he catches up. Tyler is a little dog reactive, this could be remnants from the shelter issue or he could have been an only dog, we are also working on his dog on dog manners and showing him that we expect proper behavior. Tyler is fostering with another male dog currently and after some squabbles, they are living in harmony now. Tyler will play with some toys, and is showing more interest day by day. Tyler loves to ride in a car and he knows some basic commands, Tyler is fostering in Winona Minnesota. If you would like to adopt this Red Merle Aussie, please fill out the
