Nikki-AGILITY Dog's Story...
Nikki has come around 100%...she has been trained in agility and look at her progress...what an awesome and smart dog she is. She has settled into her new routine wonderfully. So well mannered, she waits and sits to go outside. She walks well on lead. She is coming along wonderfully with some continued training. She wants to please, so she is an easy one to train. She would really be best in a home that will continue to work with her or give her a job to do like Agility...Nikki is a Belgian Malinois X, she is 2 yrs old, very smart and learns quickly. Her commands thus far are; Sit, down, come, stay, touch, roll over, leave it, kennel up, wait, out, jump, drop it, load up, and cross it, for crossing the street. A home without small children would be best because of her energy level and strength. She would excel at Agility. She can jump on top of her crate like a cat. She has climbed over a 6 foot fence, so a covered kennel is required. Her previous owner was with her constantly, he would take her out hiking all the time. She does have prey drive so no cats. Nikki was known to go to the dog park and did fine, but she has tons of energy, so another more timid dog may get scared. An only dog home would be best. Nikki is great in the house, and is crate and house trained...she loves to run, so maybe a running partner???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nikki-AGILITY Dog, a Hamilton Belgian Malinois dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Belgian Malinois for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a Belgian Malinois dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Belgian Malinois breeders who help with Belgian Malinois rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
